What is a Personal Loan?

Personal loans are typically for a set amount, at a set rate, for a set period of time, making it easier to work larger purchases or expenses into your budget. Personal loans may be used for a variety of reasons, such as:
  • Larger purchases - car, boat, ATV
  • Momentous events - weddings, vacations
  • Emergency needs - medical bills, home or auto repair

What you need to know to get started.

You don't have to come into our office to apply; however, we do want to speak with you personally first so we can get to know you and understand your needs. If you know your closest M&P location, feel free to contact the office directly.  If you don't, call our home office at (870) 523-3601 and we'll get you to the right lender.  Or, send us a quick note on our contact us page letting us know the best time and method to contact you, and we'll do that - whatever works best for you!

Other documents and information you may need:

  • Two forms of identification, one that has a photo
  • Proof of residence
  • Your latest pay stub
  • Your most recent tax returns

Feel free to review our Consumer Loan Application to get a better understanding of the information that we'll need.  You are welcome to complete this application, but please contact us before sending it so that we may provide you with a secure way to submit it and protect your personal information.
